TrueNorth Health Center, located in Santa Rosa, California, is seeking a Clinical Administrative Specialist (RN, PA, NP, DC, DO, ND, or MD) to oversee the scheduling, supervision and training of clinical staff members including doctors, nurses, medical assistants, interns and visiting practitioners. This position requires someone with previous administrative experience and who is able to live on site.

About TrueNorth Health Center:

TrueNorth Health Center is a residential health education program, offering an integrative medical approach to the restoration and maintenance of optimal health. We have been established in Sonoma County for over 33 years, and operate an inpatient clinic housed in a 40,000+ square-foot, 68-bed facility. We support the outpatient offices of approximately a dozen clinicians, our team of experts includes: Medical Doctors, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Naturopaths, Psychologists and Research Scientists. We specialize in nutritional medicine and medically supervised water-only fasting. Participants come to fast and detoxify, lose weight, and make dietary and lifestyle changes. We also work in conjunction with our non-profit research foundation, and are involved in patient education ( and primary research on the role of diet and fasting in reversing health conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, and lymphoma.

Job Position:

We have an immediate opening for 1 Clinical Administrator. This is a full-time, full charge position requiring sound clinical skills and excellent administrative abilities.

This is a live on site position. Housing is provided in an adjacent apartment complex, and includes utilities and whole plant food meals, which are free of added salt, oil, and sugar, and are prepared by our chefs. 


  • Hiring, scheduling, training and supervision of clinical team members providing patient care
  • Understanding of clinical operations
  • Alliance with TrueNorth’s mission of teaching specific healthful living practices
  • Ability to master each of the positions involved in our operation and ability to develop and document SOPs of clinical and administrative duties
  • A leadership role in promoting a harmonious workplace environment
  • Patient selection and screening
  • Complete clinical patient rounds and provide night coverage support as needed


  • Qualified medical professional (RN, PA, NP, DC, DO, ND, or MD)
  • Preferred knowledge and experience in both conventional medicine and alternative healthcare
  • Able to display outstanding patient contact skills and respond with a high level of care to patients’ support needs
  • An articulate and clear communicator
  • Highly skilled using computers and learning new software
  • Physically able to climb multiple flights of stairs per day
  • Preferred applicants are health conscious and fully committed to healthful living (whole plant-food diet, no smoking, drinking or drugs) and who can thrive in an active integrative healthcare setting
